Thriller Film Fonts Questionnaire Feedback

As part of the research into thriller film fonts, I decided to carry out some primary research in the form of a questionnaire to help gain an idea of what kind of colours, fonts and time lengths (on screen) of titles people would be expecting from a film of this genre.

I gave the questionnaire to a small group of people age 16+ as this is our targeted audience age range.
I found that although some answers varied, there was a majority answer in questions such as 'what colour font would you expect?'. The only colours that were given as answers were red, black, silver and grey. This may influence our colouring decision for fonts within our film as it is what people believe to be a conventional thriller film font colour.

Another popular response was that titles should remain visible on the screen for around 3-5 seconds and that rather than being shown over a block colour, background OR over clips of the film, there should be a mix of both to create variety within the opening sequence.

We will take other answers and suggestions into consideration when creating the titles for our film as the aim of the film is to try and please the audience which is why asking them beforehand what they would like is very beneficial to the production of our opening sequence.
