Audience Feedback From The Transition Survey

This is the feedback I gained form my survey on transitions. It helped when editing our opening sequence as we developed an idea of what people expect from a thriller film and what fits the genre better such as fades and dissolves as the transition shown. Although, with the five people I asked, the feedback for when the transition should start was a bit mixed and hard to see the initial decision for what fits a thriller best. To sort this out I could produce more surveys with a larger pool of candidates and add more specific questions, using the current survey as a pilot survey. A majority of people said that they don't notice transitions made when watching a thriller and think that they should be subtle to enhance the vibe of the film. I also found that all five people said that they think the transitions should be similar to each other.
