Film Poster for Losing Gracey

This is my final draft of a film advertisement poster for Losing Gracey.
I have taken inspiration from the other thriller posters in my film poster research post and have used a close up of the protagonist's face as the main feature of the poster in order to introduce the character. The lighting on the close up is very high key which contrasts to the black background, something that was inspired by the film poster for Black Swan.
I have added the tagline 'Am I losing my mind? Am I Losing Gracey?' that is actually a line from the voiceover in the opening sequence. By adding it to the poster it creates an enigmatic code yet also introduces the name of the film. I made sure to distinguish that 'Losing Gracey' is actually the name of the film by making it the largest piece of text on the poster and slightly darkening the colour to make it bolder.
To fit in with the colour scheme I used a selection of netural and negative colours and used a colour selector tool on photoshop to make the text the same colour as some of the colours I wanted to highlight within the picture.

  1. An interesting alternative poster for your text that will help you to focus on how you addressed the audience in your evaluation. Well done, creative and imaginative.
