Media Preliminary Task - Alphabetz Productions
This is our media preliminary task. We had to make a short film clip of two characters conversing after the first character walks through a door. We had to incorporate a match on match action shot, a shot reverse shot and also the 180 degree rule.

Introduction to Alphabetz
Hello,
We are Alphabetz Productions. We are an As Level Media group at Beauchamps High School.
Our group consists of Zoe Essam, Keeley Stamp, Elizabeth Piggott and Olivia Thomson.
This is the blog that will host all of our media work, including two tasks, a preliminary task and an opening for a film amongst various preparation and evaluation. After extensive research we have decided to go with the genre of thriller for our opening sequence.
AS Media Studies Foundation Production - The Brief:
Preliminary exercise: Continuity task involving filming and editing a character opening the door, crossing a room and sitting down in a chair opposite another character, with whom she/he then exchanges a couple of lines of dialogue. This task should demonstrate match on action, shot/reverse shot and the 180-degree rule.
Main task: The titles and opening of a fiction film, to last a maximum of two minutes.
